Award-Winning, Urban Living on Display: A Spring Afternoon of Jazz and Elegance in University District

University District will welcome guests from across Calgary for a refined afternoon of live music and French-inspired flair at today’s Show Suite Open House event.

This afternoon, University District is hosting a free Show Suite Open House event at its Sales & Discovery Centre. This elegant event offers a unique opportunity for attendees to learn more about one of Calgary’s award-winning urban communities and its current residential offerings, as well as the opportunity to connect with some of the city’s top builders; Crystal Creek Homes, Jayman BUILT and Rohit Homes. The event will feature jazz vocalist Johanna Sillanpaa, accompanied by a pianist, who will perform a mix of smooth jazz and timeless classics.

What: University District Show Suite Open House: Pianos & Petals. This spring-themed afternoon event blends live jazz, elegant refreshments and refined design elements to create a welcoming atmosphere for Calgarians. The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to explore the community, meet builder partners and learn about residential features and amenities.

Where: University District Sales & Discovery Centre at 4410 University Ave NW, Calgary, AB T2L 2K7

When: Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Who: Spokespeople from University District will be on-site and available for media interviews between 1 and 2 p.m.

Jazz vocalist Johanna Silanpaa, accompanied by a pianist, will provide a mix of jazz and familiar classics to create an inviting atmosphere.
